Swords reference

The table above lists swords in Anime Fighting Simulator with their source and notes. Unlike other stats, swords carry their own multipliers, which is why there are no Sword training spots — the sword itself provides the boost. Upgrading to a better sword is therefore a direct increase to your Sword Skill damage.

Equipping and training

A key point that trips up new players: when you receive a sword as a quest reward, it is not equipped automatically. Open the Swords sub-menu and press Equip on the sword you want, and use the equip-skin option to change its appearance. To train the Sword stat, swing your sword with key 4 plus left click; see the stats page for how training works and the controls page for inputs.

Where swords fit in your build

A Sword build is a viable damage path, especially with Sword-scaling Powers like the Demon Slayer boss’s Blood Slashes. Pair a strong sword with a multiplier Champion and you have solid melee output. For most players, though, Chakra-scaling Fruits and Specials are the primary damage source, with swords serving as a supplement or an alternative playstyle. Whatever path you choose, the progression roadmap helps you invest in the right order.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do sword multipliers work?

Each sword has its own built-in multiplier, which is why there are no Sword training spots. A better sword raises your Sword Skill damage directly, so upgrading your sword is a real power boost.

Why is my new sword not equipped?

Swords are not equipped automatically when you receive them. Open the Swords sub-menu and press Equip on the sword you want to use.

How do I train the Sword stat?

Swing your sword (key 4 plus left click). Because swords already carry multipliers, there are no dedicated training spots for the Sword stat.
