Classes Guide

Your Class sets your passive Yen income and is the engine behind your whole economy. Here is how it works and why to rank it up often.

What Classes do

Your Class is the title that sits above your avatar, and it determines your Yen-per-minute — the passive income that funds your entire economy. As you get stronger you upgrade your Class, gaining a new title and a higher Yen rate each time. The original game features more than twenty Classes to climb through.

Crucially, upgrading your Class does not reset your stats. There is no trade-off, so you should always rank up the moment you qualify.

How to upgrade

Class upgrades happen at the Wukong NPC, found inside the spawn building of every Dimension. To rank up you must:

  1. Meet the required stats for the next Class (based on your Total Power).
  2. Have enough Yen to pay for the upgrade.

Talk to Wukong, confirm the upgrade, and your new title and higher Yen rate take effect immediately.

Why Class is your economy engine

Class drives a powerful snowball. Higher Class means more Yen per minute, which lets you buy more stat multiplier upgrades, which raise your stats, which unlock the next Class — and the cycle repeats faster each time. Players who neglect Class upgrades starve their whole economy and stall out, while those who prioritize it accelerate everything: training, boss farming rewards (which also scale with Class), and even Yen code payouts (which scale with Class too).

Class in your progression

Because of this snowball, our progression roadmap treats Class upgrades as a top priority at every stage. The routine is simple: train a focused damage stat in the best training spot, upgrade its multiplier with Yen, and rank up your Class at Wukong as soon as the requirements are met. Combined with steady Chikara and Yen farming, this keeps your power curve climbing smoothly toward endgame.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I upgrade my Class?

Talk to the Wukong NPC in the spawn building. You must meet the required stats and have enough Yen. Upgrading does not reset your stats, so there is no downside to ranking up.

How many Classes are there?

The original Anime Fighting Simulator has more than twenty Classes. Each upgrade gives a new title and raises your Yen-per-minute, letting you afford more multiplier upgrades.

Why is Class so important?

Class determines your passive Yen income, which funds stat multiplier upgrades. More multipliers raise your stats, which unlock higher Classes, creating a snowball that drives your progress.
