Two different games
A huge amount of confusion comes from the fact that Anime Fighting Simulator (AFS) and Anime Fighting Simulator: Endless (AFSE) are separate Roblox experiences. They share a name and a theme, but they have different content, different currencies, and — most importantly — different codes. This wiki covers the re-released original AFS by BlockZone, with the launch RELEASE code.
Key differences
- Codes are not interchangeable. A code from AFSE will not work in AFS and vice versa. Always use codes from the matching game’s list to avoid wasted attempts — see our codes page for the original.
- Currencies and systems differ. Endless uses its own resources (such as Hearts and trait rerolls) and an endless-mode structure, while the original AFS centers on Yen and Chikara Shards, Classes and Dimensions.
- Content and balance differ. Fruit, Special, Champion and boss rosters — and their tier rankings — are not the same between the two games, even when names overlap.
- Updates are separate. Each game is patched on its own schedule, so an update to one does not affect the other. See our update log.
How to tell which one you are playing
Check the game’s title on its Roblox page. The original is simply Anime Fighting Simulator (by BlockZone, re-released June 13, 2026), while Endless carries the “Endless” tag. If the launch code RELEASE works for you, you are in the original — the one this wiki is built for.
Using this wiki correctly
Because mechanics and codes differ, applying AFSE advice to AFS (or the reverse) leads to mistakes. Everything here — the guides, tier lists, boss strategies and database — targets the original Anime Fighting Simulator. If you are looking for Endless-specific data, you will want a dedicated AFSE resource. For the original, you are in the right place: start with the beginner guide and grab the latest codes.
